About Babayemi Vanguard
A philanthropic, non-partisan movement helping people, empowering youth and women, and lifting communities across Kogi State.
Born from compassion for people
The Babayemi Vanguard was founded by Chief (Rtn) Babayemi Olorunfemi, the Atunwase of Ipaja Kingdom, out of a simple belief — that those who have been blessed have a duty to lift others.
What began as one man's quiet acts of charity has grown into a statewide movement active across all 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State — empowering youth and women, supporting the vulnerable, and bringing hope to families in need.
We are non-partisan and bound not by tribe or faith, but by compassion. Wherever there is a life to lift or a community to strengthen, the Vanguard is there.

Meet our founder
Chief (Rtn) Babayemi Olorunfemi, the Atunwase of Ipaja Kingdom, is the Founder and Convener of the Babayemi Vanguard. A dedicated philanthropist, he has spent years quietly touching lives — empowering young people, supporting widows and the vulnerable, and giving hope to families across Kogi State.
Under his conviction that “service to the people is the highest calling,” the Vanguard has grown into a movement that turns compassion into action — through empowerment programmes, relief outreaches and community development.
“No one has ever become poor by giving. When you lift one life, you lift a whole family — and that, to me, is the truest measure of success.”
