Babayemi Vanguard Holds Free Medical Outreach for Hundreds in Lokoja

June 22, 2026 Lokoja, Kogi State

Hundreds of residents received free medical screening, treatment and drugs as the movement took compassionate healthcare directly to the grassroots.

The Babayemi Vanguard has held a free medical outreach in Lokoja, bringing healthcare to hundreds of residents who would otherwise struggle to afford it.

Volunteer doctors and nurses provided free screening for malaria, hypertension, diabetes and other common ailments, while patients went home with free medication and health advice.

"Good health should never be a luxury," said a coordinator of the movement. "When you treat a sick mother or child for free, you give a whole family back their hope."

The Vanguard says the outreach is the first of a series planned across the 21 Local Government Areas of the state, as part of its commitment to compassionate, people-first service.
