Founder Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi Awards Scholarships to 100 Indigent Students

The philanthropist has awarded scholarships and learning materials to 100 brilliant but needy students to keep them in school.

The Founder and Convener of the Babayemi Vanguard, Chief (Rtn) Babayemi Olorunfemi, has awarded scholarships to 100 indigent but academically promising students across Kogi State.

The beneficiaries, drawn from both secondary and tertiary institutions, received tuition support, books and other learning materials to help them stay in school.

"No child should drop out of school because of poverty," Chief Olorunfemi said. "Education is the surest way to break the cycle of poverty, and every one of these young people deserves a chance."

Parents and beneficiaries praised the gesture, describing it as a lifeline that had restored their hope for a better future.
