The Babayemi Vanguard has distributed food items and essential relief materials to hundreds of vulnerable families across Kogi State.
The palliatives — including bags of rice, beans, garri and other staples — were shared among the elderly, persons living with disabilities and low-income households hit hardest by the rising cost of living.
"Compassion means showing up for people in their moment of need," a Vanguard volunteer said. "No family in our reach should go to bed hungry while we can help."
The movement thanked its members and donors whose generosity made the outreach possible.
